Belfountain is a beautiful small town located on the Forks of the Credit Road in the Caledon area of Ontario, Canada. The road leading to Belfountain itself is scenic, and you will find it fun to drive on. Once you reach Belfountain, you will find a beautiful conservation area with trails, historic sites, and a swing bridge. You can explore the quaint shops in the town, and it is best to leave your car and walk into the hamlet. The Higher Ground offers ice creams, scrumptious baked treats or coffee, or you can enjoy a satisfying meal at the Belfountain Inn.
Belfountain hosts the Salamander Festival, a one of its kind small-town event, in September every year with local food and entertainment and lots of activities for families. You can visit the Melville White Church just south of Belfountain on Mississauga Road. It is a beautifully restored and maintained building and cemetery which is there from 1837. You can book this church for your wedding or attend an event there.

Charles Mack Park
The Charles Mack Park is spread across 13 acres in the Belfountain Conservation Area, and it a rather unusual place. The park is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape, but what is unusual about this place are the suspension bridges and tunnels. The founder of the park was Charles Mack, who was rather eccentric and had invented the rubber stamp. He purchased the property at the beginning of the 20th century and built some unusual attractions there like a miniature Niagara Falls, and a Yellowstone cave, that even has stalagmites made of concrete.
Alton Mill Arts Center
This is where about 25 studio artists, galleries, café, a heritage museum, and unique shops can be found for the tourist who likes such things. They have a range of events, gallery shows every month, and hands-on workshops. The place is located in the village of Alton, in Caledon and is very near Belfountain.
Osprey Valley Golf
For people who love playing golf, there is the Osprey Valley Golf located in the visually stunning hills of Caledon and boasts of three 18-hole championship courses that have been designed by the Doug Carrick, the Canadian architect. You can spend a lovely and leisurely morning playing golf to have the perfect start for your vacation.
Cheltenham Badlands
Cheltenham Badlands is a tiny example of the formation of badlands in Caledon, Ontario. The place can be found on the south east side of Olde Base Line Road, between Creditview and Chinguacousy Roads, to the west of Highway 10 in Caledon. You can see eroded and exposed Queenston Shale here.
